You can get 2 types, carbon crossbow bolt or an aluminum bolt. Composite carbon shafts are currently being produced with a more consistent wall thickness for more durability. Below you will find 20″ Barnett® arrows with field points and moon nocks that feature 13.78 grains per inch matched with 125-grain points for maximum accuracy and penetration.
However, some people have reported that firing certain types of carbon bolts out of your Quad 400 can lead to cracking and splintering of the limbs after frequent use. This could be because carbon bolts can be very light and the bow will behave as if it is being fired dry (without any bolts).
If you want to be completely certain, you can always use either Barnett brand bolts or the heavier aluminum bolts.
